I cannot find any info on the given model number.
It sounds like a power problem. The stove top and oven are usually wired as separate entities so if both go out it is usually a problem with the house electrical or the power cord.
The elements run off of 240 volts but the lights and display/control board is 120 volts. What may be happening is that one side of the line is out and when you select an infinite switch the other side of the line is feeding back through a component and powering the display.
Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times, sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker. If this does nothing, check the voltage at the plug L1 to L2 should be 240 volts L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts. If OK Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out If OK Check the power at the terminal strip. Be careful as 240 volts is lethal !!!
If you find a problem be sure to take a look at the wiring in the unit to ensure that you do not have a short somewhere. |
