This unit appears to work but in reality doesn't. When you go to heat something it will act like it's working. Everything turns on but it will not heat anything at all. Any Ideas on what the problem may be or what I need to replace?

If I were playing the odds, I would say your magnetron ( AP2025937) has failed. Some checks with a multimeter would confirm this, or lead us to some other item that needs to be replaced or adjusted.

Thanks I'll look into that. thought it may be something along those lines But I needed to hear it from someone else. What procedure do you suggest with the multi meter?

When you remove the cover for the microwave, there should be a tech sheet on top that covers the testing of the high voltage components. What I have techs look at is get access to the transformer and check for voltage at the connectors when a cook cycle is started. If you have 120vac, then the rest of the circuit is working and now can concentrate on the high voltage portion. Follow the tech sheet and do the tests on the components. If everything else checks out, the magnetron is still the likely failure.
