Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/17/2011(UTC) Posts: 1		I noticed my refrigerator not getting very cold and my freezer stuff was starting to melt. I pulled off the back panel inside the freezer and the whole thing was completely frozen. I defrosted it overnight and and it worked for a while and now its all frozen again. I don't want to buy a new refrigerator, any ideas? Thanks.

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 9/10/2007(UTC) Posts: 9,586 Was thanked: 2 time(s) in 2 post(s)		If the compressor and both fans running, I would pull the cover off the motherboard in the back, unplug fridg and pull off the 3 pin power connector, then put a wire jumper between the two connector pins that mate with the motherboard labeled pins line and def. Plug in fridg., if it now defrosts, you have a bad motherboard,AP4436216 If no defrost, probably a bad defrost heater.
