About the time this unit was 2 years old, it started to just hum on the final spin. We could reset the dail a couple of times to get it to spin.Had a repair man look at it. He replaced the timer which did not seem to help a whole lot. Just changed the frequency. Now all of a sudden it wil not empty the tub nor spin out in any cycle. I don't think it's the timer. I am more inclined to think it might be a solenoid or some shifting part. Help

Thanks for your help, you just saved me $300 plus. The only thing is that, that just fixed the drain and initial spin before rinse, not the lack of final spin at the end of cycle. I still have to turn the timer around 360 once or twice for it to work. I had decided before that I could live with it, and it looks as if I still will. thanks again for your wondrful site. Mrs Marsh
