My touchpad display panel went out on my microwave, so I purchased a new one. To replace I need to remove the circuit board from the old display panel frame. I was able to remove all connections except one--there is a strip of clear plastic about 1.5" wide with circuit boad connections inbedded in it, and it is plugged into a connection in the circuit board. I cannot seem to get it out and don't want to damage it. What is the trick to remove, then re-insert the new strip on the replacement?

There should be a lock on that connection, either by pulling up on both sides, or pushing the locking clip to unlock it, then pull the ribbon cable out.
