no heat at all checked heater assembly and have continuity on all fuses. did notice that timer doe's not move but makes a clicking noise. stumped!

Check for 240VAC at the power outlet. Which cycle did you use? Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag dryer Model LDE8624ADEGene.

The below may help http://www.servicematters.com/m...ibrary/docs/16008714.pdfHas a better wiring diagram. Using it and the timing diagram you should be able to troubleshoot the unit a little further suing different cycle types. Try to get it running on timed dry, it looks like this does not use the electronic control. I would get my meter and measure across the timer motor windings. If you see 120 volts but the timer does not advance, the timer needs replacing. Clicking might be a stripped timer gear. Can also unplug the unit and check that the proper timer contacts close at the different settings. |
