Dryer works normally, but not heating. I checked the continuity of the high temperature thermostat and heating element. Was normal for the heating element, but open on high temp thermostat. Replaced thermostat and performed test cycle where dryer worked normally again for 1 test cycle. On second cycle no more heat. Rechecked continuity, and again was open on thermostat. Replaced again (and tested continuity before moving on, and exact same thing (worked for one cycle and then no heat). All lint flow thoroughly cleaned and flow sensor not indicating any obstruction. Could this really be a heating element issue, even though continuity tests normal??

thanks for any input.
