My two-year-old GE oven, Model Number JSP42W0K4WW, is not responding all of a sudden to 3 of the buttons on the touch pad (bake, self-clean, and oven light). I found someone else on this site having the same problem with a different GE oven, and I assume I have the same problem. I've researched the part number for the touch pad, and I believe it is WB27T10483. Is that my problem, and is that the correct part number? Thanks you for any help you can provide!

Gene responded to the other post, but it was about three months ago. Gene, you still here?

Hi Melissa,

Most likely the problem is a bad key pad and if it's white then the part number you found is correct.

GE part number WB27T10483 is APP item number AP3204742

Gene.

If it's something else, any ideas what else it might be?

I have a range model JDP36GP. Black. When I press the Bake or Broil buttons on the pad, the display blinks a couple of times and nothing else happens. Is this a common occurrence?
Does anyone know what the part number is and if there is an idiot sheet showing the procedure for removal and replacement?
Thanks:confused:

febrown,
I can't get the model number you posted to pull up. The closest I could come to get to that is JDP37GP3BG and the clock/control has been discontinued.
