So I turned off the breaker to the frig.... and when I turned it back on the noise was gone ... and is still gone. Maybe there was a piece if ice in the fan?
How would I know if I have a heater problem??

It seem to be maybe a fan loose on the shaft or maybe a loose motor mount. When you gain access to it you might be able to see why it makes a noise at times. I don't think the heater would cause it.
