Ok, replaced ice maker and also an auger. It has been going fine for at least a month no problems getting both crushed and cubed ice and now we only get crushed ice all the time even when cubed ice button is pushed and we are also getting a frost build up in the hole where the ice comes down from the tray to the door. I have cleaned out the shute as much as I think I could and the frost still comes back. The ice maker is making ice just fine keeping the bin full. Any suggestions??? on what is now going on. Thanks very much...

Thanks very much... You have a solenoid switch which switches the dispenser back and forth from crushed to cube. It could be stuck or not working or the parts connecting it could be disconnected or broken. You will have to observe to see if any parts are moving and if any noise is coming from the solenoid. Your ice door flap is probably not shutting all the way due to a sticking hinge, loose or broken spring or worn door seal around the door. Look at your diagrams using your model to see parts.

ok, fixed the stuck switch now we are still getting frost and it is appearing in the chute and now along the back wall of the freezer. We have noticed a seal/seam that has come down on 'roof' of the freezer. The seam is in the front part of the freezer. We think this might be the cause for the frost. Any fixes on this seam/seal??? Thanks again for all your help.
