I am working on an LG front load washer. When it starts the wash cycle it will rotate clockwise then it reverses , but the motor feezes up. It will rotate clockwise again, but eventually it gets hot and doesn't rotate either way. The tub spins freely when motor is not engaged. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have been working on mostly Whirlpool appliances for the past 15 years but this is the first LG. Thanks for any advice.

Hi Brandon

Well, you are going to find out why anyone who works on washers pretty much hates LG.

About the best I can do for you is provide you a service manual. You should know these machines are famous for false error codes, bad wiring and in general the lack of friendly service from LG.
