When I touch the oven door handle (or even walk by the range), the light flickers and it makes a "static" noise. The oven works perfectly, the door does not seem loose and the light switch is tight. Any ideas? This is more an annoyance than problem. Thanks in advance

Just a thought, take the bulb lens off and see if the bulb is screwed all the way in.

So much for the quick easy fix. The only parts of that circuit are the switch, the receptacle and the harness, and the switch is what actuates the lamp so I would suspect an overly sensitive switch. If the switch seems to function OK, a loose receptacle could be an issue. Open the door and vibrate the unit and see if the light flickers. If it only seems to do it when the door is closed, I would be back at the switch.

Hi I have an indesit basic electric cooker the temperature light is flickering as soon as I turn it on. It just used to be on solidly until it got up to temperature where it would go off. What does this mean. Does it mean the cooker is going to break? Thank you

Loose light bulb, weak light bulb socket, or door switch going bad. Have you tried a new bulb?

Service tech here, open the door, find the switch in the upper left or right hand corner, fiddle around with it. if the light flashes anytime you are just touching it (NOT PUSHING IT IN) it’s the switch.
