I am trying to replace the temperature gauge on my oven. After receiving the new gauge, I noticed that it has the start temperature needle pointed at 200 degrees but thanks to fix appliances for helping me ;)

If it turns out you need that clock.. message me.. I may have one.. I have way too many old parts! =) Originally Posted by: kendfig11 I have Maytag oven. Model number is CHE9800BCE. It's over 10 years old.
Three days ago, the bake element started to burn. Within a few minutes, the oven flashed the F1 error code. We turned off power to the oven and ordered a new bake element from AppliancePartsPros. I put that in yesterday with no problems.
When we turned on the power and attempted to heat up the oven using the bake function, the F1 error code flashed after two minutes. The bake element did not heat up at all. We tried this several times.
Even when we turn on power again and do not attempt to heat up the oven, the F1 error flashes after a couple minutes. And it continues to return a few minutes after pressing Cancel. The broil element also does not work. The burn elements on the top do still work.
Is there something wrong, then, with the touch pad as well? Could that have failed just at the same time that the bake element burned out?
The part is 12001607 (AP4009447), which does not appear to be carried by AppliancePartsPros.

hello...I do not see the F7 error code for a GE JTP56WW1WW wall double oven on your list of GE error codes. I do not also see the test you say is available on the error code page right below the list of brands to determine whether it's the clock (ERC) or the touch pad (membrane switch) that needs to be replaced. Please assist

Hello good folks at Appliance Parts Pros. I have a GE over under wall oven Model #JTP56WOW1WW. I am getting an F7 error code but on your list of error codes I do not see the F7 listed. Also the test you say that can determine whether the part needed (either the control panel or the control board) that you say is listed right at the bottom of the error codes listed is not there. Please assist and I appreciate your help.

I am getting E1 F5 error code on my whirlpool oven when trying to run the self clean cycle. I think it has to do with the door latch from what I can find but what does that mean? How do I fix that?

In order to provide most accurate advice we need the complete model number of the oven.

The cause of the problem could be: faulty door latch switch, faulty door latch motor, bad wiring or faulty control board. In the model number, you posted is missing one or two characters on the end. It is very important for proper troubleshooting and parts information to have the model number completed. Please verify and repost it.
