Electric Dryer overheats and blow thermal fuses

My dryer constantly overheats and blow thermal Fuses. I have thoroughly cleaned my ventilation ducting and replaced the thermal fuses three times. I have also replaced the thermistor, the thermostat and the cutout. I had a repair technician come over. He said that the dryer fault system indicated insufficient inlet airflow, and everything else checked good. I rechecked my vent ducting and it is perfectly clear; but the dryer continues to overheat. What else could be causing this overheating problem? Please help!

Here are your parts Parts for Maytag MEDE300VF0 Dryer - AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the tech sheet. I think it is the correct one but am guessing a bit on this. Did the tech check for a grounded element? Were the exhaust temperatures checked? Was the exterior vent checked when the duct system was checked? |
