dryer will not stay running unless you hold the start switch/timer.
After a ton of reading It sounded like the centrifugal switch on the motor. So I replaced the motor but no change. (I have replaced the motor several times in the past so had warranty).
I believe I tested all components for continuity.
What else could it be on this model?
TIA for your time!
Jay

Has to be the motor or a problem with wiring/connections between timer and motor. Check yellow/black wire that runs from timer S terminal to motor connector. Look for broken wire, faulty terminal lug connection, corroded/burned terminal at motor connector.

Eric yellow/black wire rubbed bare by the drum and shorted. Spliced and wrapped the bundle of wire in tape to protect and reposition away from the drum Thanks Eric, I now have a very happy wife and Im a super hero for a day! J
