You do not need the service manual. On 01/03 I posted the instructions on how to adjust the pump belt special for you.

Gene, Sorry to get back so late. Adjusted the belt and all is well. My wife says she still smells rubber from time to time.

I continue to have this issue. I have slid the pump as far as it can go to tighten the belt. It works for a while and then stops agitating. In can turn the transmission pulley both ways. If I have the machine running when it is supposed to agitate, I cannot turn the transmission. If I create tension on the belt by holding the motor from moving towards the transmission, the transmission tries to rotate clockwise and the motor gets in a bind and won't turn. Thanks!
