just replaced the door lock assembly and still not working. any chance i got a bad part off the shelf?

What was the original symptoms? What made you decide to replace the door lock?
Please provide the model number.

Symptoms - won't spin, but will drain. Model and serial# both illegible. Every seems to think door lock switch was the culprit

Hi.

Check the wire harness between the door lock and the control board, all connections at the control. If there is no error codes, most likely it's the control board. Still a chance for the bad motor control.
