Hi I recently replace the part W10177195 (control board) because certain buttons on my stove did not work. Unfortunately the replacement did not solve the problem. The following buttons just do not work: BAKE WARM FAVORITE TIMER OVEN LIGHT and all the Numbers 0 to 9.
Do I have to replace the membrane or is that a thermostat issue?

Hi.

The problem you are describing related to the membrane not the control board. Before replacing membrane clean the connector ribbon with isopropyl alcohol and pencil eraser.
If that doesn't help - replace the membrane.

Thank you.

Simon.

Thanks so much for your tip. I just cleaned it with alcohol (not the pencil eraser - does this make a difference?) and no change. Unfortunately the same problem. So you suggest I have to buy a new membrane? I just want to be sure before spending $150 after just spending $200 on the new control board which was useless. Thanks again for any feedback since I am just hopeless....

Hi.

If you got the control board from APP you may return it even if it's been installed.

Hi.

Check the last digit of the unit's model number. The one you posted doesn't come up.

Hi.

May be, but that no help. See if you can get the part number from the membrane itself.

On one of the 2 clear plastic "ribbons" i found the following numbers/ letters:

JN426653 REV A E140962
7450P113-115-60C USLN411557-109

Does this help?

Hi.

No. This is not the Whirlpool part number. See if you can attach the readable picture of the control panel.
