Dishwasher works, but fills with water in the bottom. I disconnected drain hose and water will fill a bucket after cycles are complete, but still leaves standing water up to the door.
Removed drain cover and there is no debris. NO debris or blockage in 1" white exit hose. Removes most water but leaves 1" standing in machine tub at end of all cycles.
No blockage all the way to P trap exit at wall.
I checked the air gap. Washer has it's own exit (not through disposal). Hose is at least 32" above floor for air gap.
Checked float and it is moving freely.
It does have a strong flow out. Could there be a timer problem where it stops before all water is pumped out?
What could it be?
Thanks!

Here is the parts breakdown Model SearchCheck out Piston & Nut, Item 564 in the "Body Parts" section. It is under the screen filter at the back of the tub. It should unscrew. If it does not seal, it will give the symptoms you describe. Is a fairly common problem. |

I looked at previous posts and thought that might be the problem. I took it out and I am going to get a new one today. Thanks for helping out a "girl" in need!
