All done and fixed. Took forever to get the board AND it didn't come with buttons. Used old ones and is good as new!

Hi Gene! I have a Frigidaire PLEFZ398GCC which doesn't heat very quickly at all. It takes about 30 minutes to get to 150 degrees. The broiler doesn't seem to work at all. The stovetop works fine. Your advice would be greatly appreciated!

Most likely the problem is a bad control board. It is recommended to replace the overlay as well because it is glued on. - The control board Part number: AP4319715

If you know how to handle a simple tools this is not too difficult job. You can access the control board by removing the rear control panel cover.

Gene you seem to be the man around here...
I have Frigidaire model #FEB30S5DCC
Same issues here... Neither the broil element or the baking element come on. So am I in the same boat & need to order the expensive EOC?

With this model it can be something more simple. Pull the range out of the wall and remove the rear panel. Check the safety thermostat on the back. It is resettable. So, try to push the red button in the middle of it and give it a try. If it would not help, check this thermostat for continuity. If it's open, replace it. - The safety thermostat Part number: 318004900

Gene. Took it out and pushed the switch. Does not seem to work. Help a very rookie electrical guy: "check this thermostat for continuity. If it's open, replace it." Do I check it with a multimeter? How would I know if it's open?
