I turn my microwave on and the motor runs but no heat and is louder than before. The forums i see say it is the magnetron or a diod, i don't even see that my model has a diod anywhere.

Hi. The rectifier (diod) #1 at the diagram#1 located at the hi-voltage capacitor. To check it you MUST first discharge it.Using two crossed screw drivers touch with them each contact at the capacitor. Take the one rectifier's leg off and with the meter set on highest resistance setting check if there any reading at all. If there any thing - replace the rectifier. No reading - check the magnetron. Take the contacts off the magnetron and check the continuity and then - check if it's "grounded." If there is continuity to the ground - replace the magnetron. The rectifier Part number: AP4362626
