GE Profile microwave, just under 4 years old, quit heating. Paid technician to troubleshoot & he announced in under five minutes that it was the magnetron. He just turned it on and listened to it, nothing more. Since that, I did my own troubleshooting & got a "Sensor Error." Before spending anything additional, I'd appreciate any help.

Hi.
The sensor is not engaged in the time cooking. So, if the microwave is not heating, but everything runs then, it's most likely the bad magnetron. According to the owners manual the magnetron in your microwave has 5 years limited warranty. Contact the GE for the estimate.
Post the results.
