I replaced the control board. First time it ran I got an error. I reset it. The dishwasher now seems to get stuck on soaking. It reads 63 minutes and doesn't change. It has been that way for about half an hour. I will update in the morning if it cycles through. What would cause this?

I should add that I opened it up and the heater is hot (I was silly and touched it, ouch).

Its down to 44. I'll let you know if it runs through.

I opened it up. The dishes were not wet. Is there something specific I should check, or just double check that all the wires are connected correctly, and that nothing looks funny inside?

Did it fill with water?

Well at least we know the heater is now running.
I should have warned you about the heater as I did the same thing myself years ago.

Do not let it run too long with just heat, I will have to look up what is supposed to be happening when soaking.

Start with the simplest cycle type without any sensing if possible.
See if these work
Then make the cycles more complex until you find out what is hanging the unit up

Also did you put the door switch back to the way it should be?

I did put the door switch back the way it should be.

I ran rinse, and it seems to work fine (or at least the machine thinks it did).

Glass express fails. The light blinks seven times.

%$#*@!!!!
Is all I can say

This thread is getting pretty long I would start a new thread
In the body put what has been done so far etc.
When I see it I will put a call for help in the tech section referencing the post.
Hopefully we can get others involved in getting this thing fixed.

Will do. I am going to double check all of the connections first to make sure that nothing is loose. Should probably check all of the readings again also.
