I have a JE1590SH02 microwave from GE. It makes a loud buzzing noise which seems to be coming from behind the control panel or the bottom of the unit. It still heats food via microwave. When it is ran on convection, the noise is gone. How do I diagnose which part needs to be replaced? Much thanks for any help.

Filip, You most likely have a damaged diode or capacitor. Here's a way to check the high voltage side of the power supply :
• To check for HV circuit operation, put control board in test position. • Place a load inside microwave & set time for 1 minute. • Once microwave shuts off after the minute, place 2 screwdrivers across HV capacitor terminals and touch them together, to see if you get a spark. • If there is a spark, the HV circuit is working. • If there is no spark, the HV circuit is not working & you will need to check the diode, capacitor, and HV transformer.
Good Luck and Thanks,
:) :) :)
