Can you be more specific on what it does and what does not? What exactly did you test besides the fuse?

Gene I Followed the MWO Troubleshooting flow chart down to the clamp on ammeter to MWO's internal fuse lead and read > 8A. Chart tells me Magnetron & HV compts are good, then to call Tag Team for Resolution, due to intermittent problem ?? Re-Testing this morning and got smoke from HVT on Secondary ( Shut Down Imeeditly No Blown Fuses) All Functions on Key Board Work. will go to Cook cycle but no Heat. Bad HVC & HVD ?? Looking at replacing these, Can't get DVOM to Read differently on HVD, reads open when reversing leads, HVC reads Infinet ohms to Case & leads, No Burnt wires or shorts Found. Help ??

HVT is bad and has to be replaced.

HVD most likely is good. You can run more reliable test as described in one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...19868-diode-testing.html

- The part number for the HVT is AP3206335

Did you do this test? If you did and the diode is good then the culprit is the magnetron.

Gene, Yes I tested the Diode with a 6 volt batterie and it functioned properly. Will replace the magnatron and let you know. Thank-you Matt

Gene replaced Magnatron and still no heat, decided to change CAP. Have heat run for about 50 sec then can hear oven load up , fan slows down. What should a wire to the mag read with a clamp-on amp. meter ?? Matt
