I'm having a problem with my washer not being able to start up. When I press one of the wash cycles, the corresponding light indicator flashes, rather than remains solid. Once it's solid, I can normally press start and get the clothes going.
I checked the striker on the door and it is not damaged, so I'm assuming that it is the receiver that is mounted inside the cabinet and protrudes through a small 1" square hole.
I found a local parts shop that stocks it, but I am not sure how to open the unit to get at it. I see a few torx screws that seem to hold it in place from the inside, but I need help finding the way to access it.
Also, if anyone suspects that it is something other than that part, I'd appreciate your thoughts. Thanks...207

The way to get to the door switch is to remove the OUTER boot clamp, There should be a spring at the bottom of the opening, carefully remove the wire and spring. The switch is just inside of the opening!!:)

I had the same problem. I broke the locking clip inside small hole so I had to pull the door lock. Don't know if this is my problem but I need to replace it now. If you get any info please post and good luck

If you have a meter, you could pull off the top cover and check the door switch at the control board.
