-20°F is way too cold. Normal temperature in the freezer suppose to be about 0°F. You have to adjust the temperature.

Thank you for you response but I am confussed. I am not getting ice and when I close the flap on the door all I get is a sold red light. Should I purchase the parts you recommended or is it something else?

Bruce,
You may want to start from adjusting the temperature inside the freezer to 0°F. Then wait about 24 hours to see the real temperature and watch the ice maker.

I have done everything you suggested short of buying parts. I adjusted the temperature and waited 24 hours and I still get a red blinking light in a seriess of two flahes and then a pause and then it repeats itself

Bruce,
Back in May I recommended to replace the optic PC boards. Money saving options did not work. So, it's time for repairs.
