I Have A Whirlpool Top Loading Machine, Its A Special Edition, 6 Cycle,2 Speed Motor.heavy Duty Extra Large Capacity. Machine Works Fine Until It Is Time For The Water To Spin Out Of The Tub. It Does Absolutely Nothing,as Far As The Water Coming Out. I'd Like To Know What The Problem Could Be, And What I Can Do To Correct The Problem.

Thank You

Hi John

Does it drain?
Also, in order to provide the best accurate advise I need you to post the complete model number of your washer. You can find it under the lid.

Gene.

Hi Grace

Most likely the problem with your washer is a bad lid switch.
Does it click when you slowly open or close the lid?
If the answer is "No" then no doubt the lid switch has to be replaced.

- New lid switch and step by step instructions on how to replace the lid switch: Part number: AP3100003
Part number: AP3100003

- Here are the break down diagrams for the Roper washer Model RAS6233KQ0

Good luck.
Gene.
