I have a Maytag stakable washer, model LSG9900ABE. It won't agitate. Belt is worn, but it spins fine.Put pressure on motor to tighten belt but it actually almost stalled out during agitating cycle, so l don't believe it is the belt. Could it be the brake or is it the transmission? Any suggestions on how to check ,would be greatly appreciated. Than-you

However parts are quite expensive thats why most people replace their machine when it gets to transmission problem. Okay thanks. I'm going to take apart just to see if l can see whats wrong.
