The washer fills and washes ok. Right before it gets to the rinse cycle, it shuts off. No draining, refilling, or spinning. The machine just stops. It will come back on if timer is set at beginning of cycle, but stops running again before it gets to rinse.Any suggestions?

Hi Ken,
Most likely the problem is a bad lid switch. For more accurate advise we need the complete model number of the washer.
Gene.

GENE's Correct, I'll bet its the lid switch!!!!!!!! To test it open the console and locate the 3 wire connector, unplug the connector and "JUMP" the 2 outside wires (Gray,I think)with a piece of insulated wire. This connector is MOUNTED to the top of the washer a little to the right of center near the back.

Just have to remember not to put my hand in there during the spin cycle.
