Hi, tom my dryer is not working again LOL. ok this time it was making a loud noise I was not sure if it was just the belt makeing the noise but the motor finally gave out. i open the door and trip the switch and push the on button and it just goes bbbuuuuzzzz and click. so I think it is the motor what do you think it is? do you also recomend to replace the belt while I have it off? also should I replace the switch to turn it on the push button on switch? heres the dryer info Whirlpool 7 cycles imperial series mod:lgn2000jq0

It sounds like the motor is bad. Did you try to spin the drum and see if it spins free.? If you have some one else around, what I want you to do is open the dryer door, and push in the door switch, and hold it in, and have someone push the start switch, and I want you to spin the drum, and let me know if it starts or it try's to start. Tom.
