Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/18/2007(UTC) Posts: 2		Whirlpool Gas dryer has been working fine. Today it will not run. Press the start button & nothing. Checked door switch,thermal fuse,timer,high limit thermostat. I wired the motor directly & it runs fine. There is a part attached to the motor I think is a start relay. Took it apart & contacts were burned a little. Cleaned & put back together but still not working. I suspect that it is bad. I cannot find that part anywhere. Does it only come with a new motor? Any other tips would be appreciated. Maybe I'm missing something?
