A/c Won;t Come On - Unit Make A Small Clicking Sound When You Try To Turn It On. Could It Be The Fuse?

Sounds like you have a bad motor overload protector.

The fuse and or the Breaker located in your main panel box may be triped. the noise you hear is a sound from a seperate power source that is 24 volt low voltage. You could have a burnt high voltage wire or a set of burnt contactor points. It is for sure that no power is going to the compressor because the fan outside would or should come on when you set the t stat to cool. Be carefull. you are dealing with 220 volts.:cool:
