washer stopped working - nothing happened when knob was pulled. Replaced switch - worked long enough to fill with water and then stopped. Was told it may be timer and to test with voltage meter - can you give help for this? Wiring diagram and testing for what?

The first thing I would do is remove the access panel and the control panel and check all harness plugs and connectors, especially where it goes down through the washer top panel.

Which switch did you replace?
