Kenmore elite Calypso motion washer, I do not have the owners manual.
Lately I have been getting error messages of C1 or is it CL, and also FL. Seems to stick on these messages, if I unplug it for several hours and then restart it, it SOMETIMES continues to run. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

See if you can use this service manual to put it into test/diagnosis mode and determine what the issue is.

Thanks for the manual, I ran it through the dianostic tests but nothing came up. Still getting error messages of LD,CL, and especially FL. Still have to unplug it for quite a while before it will pump out the water and start running again. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. !!

In this situation you want to do things that cost the least amount of money. I would start by taking off the pump and thoroughly cleaning it out along with the drain hoses.

Let's see what that does, if anything, for you.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I've also noticed that after letting it sit and plugging it back in the FL message flashes and it just hums. Does this change your approach any??

Everything you state points to a machine control board problem, but since that is pretty expensive and requires a replacement to confirm, try the cleanout first, and also take off and clean and reseat all the connections.

O.K. I haven't tried to clean it out yet, but when I run the self diagnosis program the countdown timer stops at 33. Does this help give you a better idea about whats going on.

Sorry, same opinion, if cleaning the drain/pum and the connections and reseating them does not help I am afraid you will have to try with a control replacement.

Would that be the electronic control board or the motor control board you are talking about, not sure which one you mean.

Main Control Board should be the source of the problem.

Hopefully it won't come to that.
