I have a Maytag single built in oven model number MEW6530DDS and the Bake, broil and other functions buttons no longer work. Canncel and Conv Roast still works.
Thanks for your help, A.K

Open the control panel and remove the control panel ribbon cable from the control board. Check the tracks in the ribbon cable for a hairline cracks, using a magnifying glass. Clean the edge with a pencil eraser. Clean the connector on the board, using an electronic contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a tooth brush. Make sure it's dry before reconnecting. Reconnect everything and give it a try. If it would not help, replace the control panel. - The control panel Part number: AP4416920

It didn't work. The upper strip made a beaping sound when removed from the control pannel and the lower strip didn't do anything. Is itpossible that the strips are the problem? Do I need to replace the whole pannel or can I buy the strips only.
Thanks,

I'm assuming the ribbon cable is the part you called "strip". The ribbon cable comes as a part of the control panel and can not be replaced separate.
Gene.
