HELP-THE control panel locked on my Whirlpool Duet HT-How do I unlock it.

See if unplugging the machine and leaving it sit for a short while will free things up. Then look inside the top for the tech notes which should show you how to put the machine into test/diagnosis mode so you can see if there is still a problem.

I tried unplugging it -that didn't work- I'm not sure what yuo mean by "look inside the top" I took off the top front and there is just a circuit board. I read in a manual(not Mine)that when the control lock is on it should still start. None of the buttons are functioning. Thanks for any help.

Inside the top should have been a copy of the tech sheet, the same or similar to the one Denman referenced. Here is a service manual for an earlier version of your machine which should give you additional information. Check to see if you have power getting to the control board, and if so and you cannot get the machine into test mode you may have to replace it on speculation that replacement will solve the problem. https://secured.whirlpoo...ILE/Duet%20Job%20Aid.pdf
