The dryer has stopped spinning - assuming that the motor has died - are there any other things to consider? Thanks to all.

The model number indicates that this is an electric dryer ... The first thing I would do is make sure there is 240v at the wall outlet.

Ok now that we know we have proper voltage at the outlet we need to check the door switch ... With the dryer door open, the switch lever will be in the upper right side of the door housing ... press and release that lever and listen for it to make a clicking sound.

Ok after unplugging the dryer pull the small panel right above the spot where the cord enters the dryer ... Behind that panel you will see the 3 leads that attach the cord to the dryer ... Check for burnt wires at that connection ... If thats good pull the back panel of the dryer and check to see if the thermal fuse reads open using and oam meter... The thermal fuse will be white plastic with two wires goin to it ... It will be located on the blower housing.

The hot/neutral/ground look clean.

The thermal fuse (blue and orange wires entering leads on white plastic) read 0.1 ohms.

I have this darn thing open and still can't seem to find the motor - what's up with that?

For testing sake pull the wires from the thermal fuse and test to see if the fuse is closed ... Its normaly closed and if it reads open it should be replaced ... I dont advise it but the fuse can be bypassed by putting the two wires together.

Pulled both wires and got the same reading of 0.1 ohms - is it bad?

The ohm reading seems really low to me ... Put the two wires together making sure they make good connection ... with the exposed part of the wires away from any metal it can ground out on plug the dryer in and see if that fixes the dryer
