front loading machine, close door, the locked door light comes on then the machine will just hum, no water.

Unfortunately there are a lot of suspects here, and you will have to check out each one. 1. The water valve assembly is not working. even though it is getting 120v 2. Water level switch is bad. 3. The tube from the water level switch to the air bell is blocked, not likely but clean it out. 4. The door lock assembly is bad, and the machine will not start to fill because of this. This is your most likely problem. Here is a service manual for a Frigidaire Gallery which is very similar to your machine.
