According to the Tech sheet for this model, an error code "F1-E1" means "Electronic control malfunction" and recommended repair is to replace the control board.

The "F1-7" error code means the control board does not sense the key pad.

Open the control panel, disconnect the key pad ribbon cable from the control board and check the tracks in the ribbon cable for a hairline cracks. You may want to use a magnifying glass.

If there is something wrong with the ribbon cable then the control panel has to be replaced. Post the color of it if you need the correct part number.

You may want to clean the connector on the board as well, using an electronic contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a tooth brush. Be careful and make sure it's dry before reconnecting.

If there is nothing wrong with the ribbon cable and cleaning did not help then the control board (aka a clock/timer) has to be replaced.

I have a GE JKP18B0A3BB model and its overn control kept giving F7 error.
With your representative help I ordered a replacement new part, which worked for a while n then gave me F7 error again.

One thing I noticed that the original part does have connectors for K2-Broil, k3-Bake, k4-CONV. But the k9- L2 is empty- No Connector. The new replacement has all the k3 and also has black connector box in L2 space of the board..

Do I have the wrong ERC board for my model...

From this forum, I gather F7E0 error. Is this different from F7 (no E0).

Please advice..

This problem most likely connected to the control panel ribbon cable and has nothing to do with the ERC relays.

Open the control panel, unplug the ribbon cable from the control board and clean the contacts with a pencil eraser. Check the tracks in the ribbon cable for a hairline cracks, using a magnifier. Reconnect everything and give it a try. If it would not help then replace the control panel. If you need the correct part number then post the color of the control panel.

I have a Whirlpool GW395LEPS03 oven with an error code of PF. The oven is not working and none of the buttons on the panel are working. I recently replaced the elctronic control unit and that did not fix the problem. Do you think this could be the control panel?

I have a Decor PGR30SLP model and I am getting an error code of F1, the manual says this is a relay circut failure. Listed in the forum under your decor error codes you have a different listing for F1. Which is the correct error code meaning, the one in my book or the one you posted. My stove is a year 2002 model. I am wondering if the problem is the relay board and if the entire relay board has to be replaced or if a smaller part can just be replaced when I get this message? If I cancel the error it comes back after 30 seconds and I can hear a relay type click in the stove before the error message shows. Thanks, RJ
