Whirlpool oven stopped working after the cleaning cycle completed.

The oven and the cooktop are separate. The cooktop works fine.

Thank you.

Do you have any display in the clock?

Yes, the CLOCK and controls for the oven work. Just no heat.

Look and see if the bake element has any bubbles or holes in it. If nothing is obvious you'll need to use a volt/ohm meter to check to see if it's good or not. Make sure you remove power from unit before pulling out the element. Below is a link to a parts breakdown.

Pulled the elements, they both had continuity and checked out at 28 OHMS. There are no bubbles or cracks in them.

You'll need to remove back panel and look for burnt wire, also ohm out the below part, which is a thermal fuse.

After that you're probably looking at the electronic control.

Part number: AP3885687

I am just checking for continuity or a specific resistance.

Continuity. Needs to be a closed circuit.

I now have an oven! Thank you so much!! It was indeed the thermal fuse. Your service is awesome. My compliments to your knowledge and expertise.
