I have tested valve and manually flowed water through tube and water flowed and valve checked out good with ohm meter. Water still will not flow for the 5-8 seconds after harvesting ice

Right now it is facing the freezer door. The part number of my icemaker is 106.2198597. Finally foound the manual and drawing shows the points facing the freezer door.

Possible something else is bad as well. I would recommend to replace the whole ice maker. - Whirlpool ice maker part number 2198597 is APP Part number: AP3182733 Gene.
