My dryer has been working great for the last 14 years and just today I noticed that it was not drying. After opening the lower panel I observed that the gas burner is igniting, but for a short duration no matter what heat setting. Is there an adjustment and or a cleaning procedure that I should try or do I need to replace that gas burner/igniter unit? Everything else has been working great. Thanks in advance for your help.

Most likely the problem caused by the clogged vents and restricted air flow.

Good luck.
