went to preheat oven and there's no heat, broiler is working though can you give me some insight cuold this be the igniter in the lower part of the oven just needs replaced and how much is the part

Unplug the bake igniter and check for 120V coming to the igniter while the oven is set on Bake.

If there is 120V then the igniter has to be replaced.

If there is no 120V then the control board is bad and has to be replaced.

- The part number for the bake igniter AP3455537

To find the right part number for the control board I need the serial number of the range.

I have a GE JGBP30 range. Its gas, the burners work on the top, the broiler works fine but oven will not lite. Worked just fine yesterday.. please help? Thanks lorrie

GE JGBP30 gas range. The burners work on the top, the broiler works also. We used the oven yesterday and it worked fine. Now it will not lite? Please help could it be the igniter and how would we test it!

Most likely the problem is the igniter.

You can read the post on top of yours to get the test instructions.

In order to find the right part number for the igniter (or other parts) I need the complete model number of the range.
