I have a whirlpool Dryer that I Bought used and now the control lock light will not turn off. I have tried unpluggin it from the wall and holding down the control lock button and the light still remains. What do you suggest I do or do I need to order the Control interface for it??? Thank you for your time.

Look inside the top and see if there is a tech sheet which will show you how to put it in diagnosis/troubleshooting mode, and see if you can get an error code or some other determination of the problem.

I have looked and read over the manual and it says nothing about how to trouble shoot it. The light still comes on, on it's own and I'll getting aggrivated. DO you suggest I do anything else or should I have a tech come take a look at it???

Sounds like you are looking in the owner's manual and not the tech sheet.
Here is a link to the tech sheet for your model.

Hey man I appreciate the help but I am still unable to get my dryer to start. I have ran through the whole tech sheet and according to it. I had to replace the Control Board so I ordered it and nothing happened same thing the dryer won't turn on. I have checked the motor and it's good. I don't want to give up but I don't know what else to do or what else to look for. Any suggestions???

If it completely dead, try tracing the wiring to see if you are getting power to the main board. If you are, and still cannot get it to light up or come on, check all of your connections to the board and clean them and try again.
