GENE, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR EXPERT ADVICE ! SINCE BOTH COILS WORKED, ALLOWING THE INITIAL FLAME, AND HAD CONTINUITY WITH REASONABLY CLOSE TO SPEC. IMPEDIENCE, I THOUGHT THEY WERE PROBABLY OK. AFTER ADDITIONAL INTERNET SEARCHING, I LEARNED THAT HEAT WEAKENS THEM. IT TURNS OUT THAT ONCE THEY BOTH GOT HOT, THE 3 PRONG COIL WAS TOO WEAK TO OPEN IT'S VALVE PORT A 2nd TIME. MY GIRLFRIEND NOW SENDS YOU THANKS FOR HER CLEAN AND DRY UNDERWARE AND I CAN GET BACK TO FIXING HER CAR !
