what's the best way to check if the ignitor glows. The front panel is one piece and you can't see anything from the back.

If you can darken the room and start the dryer, sometimes that is enough to see the glow of the igniter.

silly me there is a plastic plug on the front of thr dryer if removed you can see the ignitor. changed the thermal fuse and everything is fine.
