Washer Fills But Will Not Agitate When Speed Control Switch Is Set To Regular Or Delicate, Change Setting To Heavy Duty Agitates And Works Fine, Also Can Change Speed Control Setting To Heavy Duty To Get Started Then Back To Regular Or Delicate, The Speed Slows Down And Works Fine.

Well, it could be either the timer or the speed control switch, (called a cycle switch by the mfg). I would first open up the console and clean the contacts on both the timer and the speed control switch and see if that helps. It probably won't, in which case the timer is the more likely suspect because the speed switch does work after the washer starts in high speed, and because nature usually dictates the problem is the more expensive part and the timer is a lot more expensive then the speed switch.
