My GE Dryer dx4500ga2ww won't sufficiently dry clothes in one cycle. The drum tumbles and it does get hot but still doesn't dry clothes enough. Recently changed the coils (2) and cleaned out all the vents. Is there something I'm missing? Can anyone offer some advise on what to check next before a take the plunge and have to go and buy a new set. Thanks very much..

Long drying times are most always associated with clogged or restricted ventilation. Check the entire vent, from the dryer itself, all the way to the outside of the house. Also, check the blower housing to make sure there isn't a clump of lint partially blocking it.

I've noticed that my dryer starts out OK but after about 10 minutes the heat goes away. I also see the glow at the bottom of the dryer and soon thereafter I hear the burners start up. I can't understand whats going on.
