I have a Whirlpool Dishwasher model# DU1055XTPQ3 (serial # F54522859) that I am experiencing a problem with. During a cycle I heard a loud buzzing sound coming from the door. I removed the door and found that it was the soap dispenser/rinse aid motor was the source of the noise. I unplugged the wires from the motor and checked the resistance across the motor and it measured fine. I then started a new wash cycle and checked the voltage coming to the motor. It measured 42 volts constantly without decreasing to 0 until the dry cycle started. Would this be caused by some faulty relay in the control board, or burnt out switch on the control board? If it is a component on the control board does the entire control board need to be replaced?

If the dispenser resistance reading is 280-300 Ohms, replace the control board. - The control board Part number: AP3775998
